Reading out loud is proably one of my biggest fears. to be honest i thought that i was going to have to read it out loud in front of the whole class. when i found out that there would be only 3 other present it was a sigh of relief i think that it helped me in that i got to see how to write my paper better and made me see some of the grammatical errors
What you said is not uncommon. In fact, in 2002 there was a survey of people's greatest fears and over 84% of the sample said that they were more afraid of speaking than death. However, speaking does help with finding grammatical errors, it definitely helped me!
ReplyDeleteI also thought that it was in front of the whole class, and I was not too fond of doing so, thankfully it was not the case. I totally agree that it helped grammer and improve specific topics addressed in the paper. I was able to pin point certain areas I wanted to fix.
