The text I decided to use is from my favorite comic strip Foxtrot. In
this comic strip I think that anyone who has a younger sibling can
relate to this and I know in my family we are always looking for
batteries and whenever we need them they are no where to be found. I
think this strip relates to pathos in that it invokes humor and joy to
the reader because of the situation that the girl was put in. The ethos
in this is that the author seems like he knows what it is like to have
younger siblings that are always bugging their older brothers/sisters.
Another example of ethos is that families are always looking for things
like batteries, but it always seems like when they need them there never
is any.
